"We rented this space to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing on many levels. The venue is poorly maintained: peeling paint on benches and tables, broken plants, uneven flooring on the terrace (which made the stools wobbly and unstable), and even visible air conditioning units and vases filled with cigarette butts. It clearly lacks the care and attention you’d expect from a rental space. While the staff was very accommodating before booking, once we signed the contract, the attitude changed completely. We had agreed in writing that the party would go until 1:00 AM, but the on-site staff member—who spoke to us in a very aggressive and rude manner—started shutting things down earlier than agreed, turning on the lights and telling the young guests the party was over, without waiting for us (the adults) who had just stepped out momentarily. This was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The flexibility they promised when selling the venue vanished once the deposit was paid. We asked for a couple of extra chairs and were simply told “no.” We were also blamed for a problem with a small storage area’s lock, even though we had nothing to do with it. They also enforced inconsistent and unreasonable rules: one person told us it was fine to have music on the terrace at a lower volume, but then the staff forced everyone inside, closed the windows, and prohibited anyone from being outdoors. Despite paying for 4 hours of cleaning—which isn’t necessary for such a tiny interior space—we were constantly interrupted by staff or strangers walking in. We were supposed to have the venue for 6 hours, but in reality, our event went from 8:30 PM to 1:00 AM and we didn’t even use the full time, yet they decided to cut it short. To top it off, they added VAT to the total cost without clearly stating it beforehand, and even charged an extra €10 fee just for paying by credit card. Overall, it was an unpleasant, disappointing, and unprofessional experience. What should have been a joyful and memorable evening turned sour because of their attitude, lack of care, and poor customer service. IN REPLY TO YOUR RESPONSE: It’s clear there were issues. After all the effort made to create a special 18th birthday for my daughter, I’m honestly not sure it was. Christian from your team was kind and professional. He said painter’s tape was fine for paper garlands, and mentioned the option of using the adjoining space if it rained. That openness was later replaced with tension and rigidity. If I leave a negative review, it’s due to the venue’s state and how the event was handled—photos didn’t match reality. We brought flowers and five paper garlands (hung with thread and painter’s tape). Regarding “confetti,” it was just 30g of decorative silver and blue pieces, placed gently in one area. Four hours of cleaning were included, which should suffice. Christian also told us painter’s tape was allowed; Rose later accepted this. If decorations aren't allowed, the venue’s condition should be addressed—walls, terrace, trash in amphora, etc. We had to arrange chill-out cushions ourselves, following instructions from another staff member. At 11:30 p.m., we returned to serve cake. At 12:30 a.m., Rose turned on the lights abruptly and guests started leaving. My husband returned at 12:45 to help my daughter clean. They removed everything—garlands, flowers, trays. I never entered restricted areas. A door was open, and I informed staff where I’d leave keys and an empty suitcase. Rose’s attitude throughout was harsh and unwelcoming. Seventeen respectful guests were present, no damage was caused. Regarding payment: I always planned to pay by card. I didn’t protest the €10 surcharge, though adding 21% VAT on it is not legal. I also offered to pay €2 for a 5L bottle of water, but no change was available. We expect a full refund of the deposit, minus €2 for the water."

"An amazing venue for hosting events! We celebrated my birthday here, and even though it rained all day, the stunning terrace and overall ambiance made sure the weather didn’t spoil the fun. I’d rate it 99 out of 100 – just one point off because of the rain. The kitchen is a kitchen of my dream! Professional equipment, grill, plenty of dishes, everything is super clean and stylish. The music system works great, although it’s only possible to play via Spotify, but that wasn’t a big issue (despite I think that Spotify is the worst option). We had a fantastic time and definitely want to come back for future events, hoping to fully enjoy the terrace in better weather!"
