"This company deserves top marks for its fair pricing, flawless execution, and great team. Our home needed a major renovation and we solicited 3 bids (my husband is a real estate developer and was insistent that we go through a "professional" methodology.) Silvio's bid came in within the range of our budget, but more importantly, it was so much more detailed and thoughtful than the other contractors' bids. This assured us that Silvio really understood the project and took great care in thinking through the details from the get-go. You know the old adage, measure twice, cut once? Well this may as well be Silvio's mantra. Silvio worked incredibly well with our architect and even came up with solutions to a few issues that he identified regarding the design. "I cannot recommend Silvio and Hometelligent highly enough! Silvio and his top notch team performed a major second story renovation of our home in Piedmont. Do you know the saying "A players hire A players"? Silvio is a living example, not only was his team top notch, his subcontractors were all also A players! One example of this was that our neighbor, a retired framer and architect, said that Silvio's framing subcontractor was the most clean, detailed, and meticulous framer that he's even seen. Silvio is also the most responsive and communicative GC that we've worked with - if you appreciate getting a response from your contractor shortly after reaching out, he's your man. Other contractors that we've worked with may take days or weeks to follow up but that was NEVER the case with Silvio. I would say that his average response time to email/text/p[hone averages less than 5 minutes! Another case study for Silvio's performance - schedule. Silvio originally told us that our project in the best case would take 10 months and to figure on 12 months as a baseline. Even though the project had to go through a historically wet winter and numerous unforeseen challenges/changes (our home is almost 100 years old), Silvio finished in 13 months! A lot of other home renovation projects can drag on for months or even a year plus, but Silvio and his team delivered!
