"In a gleaming skyscraper that prides itself on being the pinnacle of a first-world city, one might expect efficiency, fairness, and practicality. Unfortunately, MBFC Tower 2 reveals a different story — one of unnecessary obstacles and outdated thinking. Imagine this: a delivery rider tasked with one simple job — to deliver a single letter to the 47th floor. Instead of being allowed to use any of the multitude of lifts readily available on the first floor, he is barred from entry. Where is he sent instead? To a side lift beside a restaurant sign that reads “Forbidden Duck.” The irony is sharp — a sign that could not more perfectly capture the essence of this policy: forbidden to the very workers who keep the building running. The ordeal doesn’t end there. At Basement 2, the rider is forced to navigate like a miner through the underbelly of the building, hunting for the security office just to exchange passes and secure access to yet another lift lobby. Minutes turn into what feels like hours — all for a single letter. And yet, here lies the ultimate irony: if the rider had been delivering food, either the customer would come down, or he’d be permitted to take the main lifts without fuss. In MBFC Tower 2, food earns convenience, but letters invite discrimination. Two deliveries, two worlds apart — both equally essential, yet treated with striking inequality. This is not about rules, but about reason. A first-world building should not operate on third-world logic. If MBFC Tower 2 is to stand as a beacon of modernity, it must start by respecting the dignity of those who serve it — whether they carry a meal or a message."
"You need to get a one time pass which staff will give to you via SMS. prepare NRIC/singpass for verification at the counter before they issue the QR code that they will use to let you enter and exit the building in general."
"I absolutely love this area; my office at MBFC T2 is easily accessible by public transport and offers excellent views."
"I’m not sure about the official working hours for the receptionist at the lobby, but I’ve noticed a difference in attitude in the evening. The staff seem quite reluctant to assist with entry and exit, and at times, they come across as rather rude."
