"Would give 1 star if possible. This location along with the red cow shop are a joke. Always slow and very rarely have the materials you are looking for. Lazy managers would rather sit at their desk and come into the shop front and help move the line. An absolute joke, this is at least my 10th experience of dealing this this pathetic excuse for a wholesalers. AVOID"

"never before have, I experienced such rudeness, disrespectfulness & hostility in a shop, I searched many Electrical Wholesales for a particular brand of "carbon monoxide detectors" and CEF Dublin (very friendly) told me CEF Finglas had 52 in stock, - so I was committed urgently to purchasing these two items (€ 52) for a Council inspection, they wanted to serve me the second I walked in the door but I wanted to look at the tools display, two tools that I needed, were over € 70 (I only asked the price of these) and three other items I wanted would have come to about € 150 Euro, after the "sales person" put the two "carbon monoxide detector" on the counter, I asked for three other items of which they didn't have two of them, it was at this stage he stated, that "I better give him the full order because he was not going to go down the stores again", (but he had only gone down once only to get the 2x detectors), it was at this stage, I felt the hostility, the older senior bald head man, with the English accent, was just as bad, he injected himself into the conversation, asking "why I wanted the items in question and that I should get the advice of an Electrician", to which I advised him, that I was a qualified Electrician, to which he stopped talking and refused to answer any other questions, meanwhile the "sales person", asked and was "mildly implying", - did I not want the tools that he had gone to the trouble of looking up the price on the computer?, it was then I decided to purchase these tools somewhere else! I told the "sales person" that I was not very impressed with the service in this shop and he said, "he was sorry I felt that way", I asked him his name and he REFUSED TO GIVE IT, but his name is on the sales docket, never again will I shop there!"

"Shop was busy but only had to wait a few minutes. I thought I would have to order what I was looking for but they had it in stock. Really friendly and hassle free service. Can’t recommend enough."

"I have been using CEF in Finglas since 2005. I have always found their service excellent. Since the Covid 19 outbreak they have been available at all times and were a massive support to the company during that time with collections and deliveries. A big thanks to all the staff for their efforts."
