"Today I tried to log into the centraal beheer app, because I want to cancel my annual subscription before it renews itself. I couldn’t log in. Then I tried calling Centraal Beheer, It picks up for 5 seconds then automatically ends the call. It seems like they blocked me out of the blue, no explanation, not even informing me. This is abhorrent behavior and extremely unprofessional, no communication, nothing for a paying customer!! All in all, I had the most terrible experience with this company. My gaming laptop was destroyed because my cat knocked out the glass of water. My hairdryer suddenly decided to spit fire instead of air, and finally I was robbed and my suitcase stolen during a night train ride between two countries, none of these are reimbursed, just nothing. Keep paying unconscious clients.. you will get nothing in return"
"Similar to other complaints, the travel insurance is utterly pointless. We were told it does not cover any cancellations during the trip, only if something is cancelled before you leave—why would you have travel insurance that doesn’t work during the trip? We were in a zone affected by natural disasters and CB was useless. Very disappointing, I cannot recommend this."
"Avoid!! They are thieves! Absolutely useless, not only will they not help you but theyll keep charging you after insurace stop, and they will wont answer any phones and even after 10 days no replies on the emails"
"I was quite shocked reading the negative reviews of this insurance company ! OK we all know insurance plays on one's angst,and they are there to make a profit, but I have been a customer of CB for nearly 40 years !! I have car insurance,House insurance, Legal Insurance, and a couple more, they have been invaiuable over the decades !! The staff I speak to on the telephone are just fantastic, explanations are clear ,precise and efficient, when I have had to call on my insurances, they are always honoured,quick efficient payment and handling, the Legal services are fantastic,when my house was broken into,my wife is a photographer and much of her Nikon equipment was taken etc etc it was all sorted within a week, same with any car claims, accidents caused by "other's", Ihave fifty years no claim bonus, this is the best insurance company (if you need insurance) that you could have !! I have not enough superlatives for the Staff also, really excellent ! Thank you CB for all the stress free years !! By the way, I am just an ordinary person, no affiliations whatsoever with this company, except as a long standing customer !!!"
"had an accident and my scooter was completely broken. The one who caused this accident to me was a teenage boy. He promised to fix my scooter with his insurance, but he kept playing with me. After a long time, I found out his insurance company, which is the same company as mine. I gave them all the evidence that he was the one who hit me, as shown in the pictures. I also sent them conversations between me and him, as well as a video after the accident, from which I extracted the pictures shown below. Unfortunately, the insurance company did not want to do anything, claiming that the boy said it was not my fault. A very weak company in investigating, and the girl who spoke to me asked me for a video at the time of the accident, which is impossible to achieve in the Netherlands. I do not recommend a company like this. I sent all the requirements to the girl who contacted me, her name is Monique Franken, and she did not even respond to any email. . I think that because I am not Dutch and do not speak Dutch, this is the reason why she did not care about my case."
