"My terminally ill daughter has been through a few caseworkers. Been trying since June of last year to get Long Term Medicaid set up so I can be her caretaker. It’s ridiculous! No one responds, she has to request a call back from a supervisor, and sometimes THAT doesn’t help. Wrong paperwork, no responses to calls nor emails. Basically you are on your own. 10 months to get NOTHING done!"
"I have been working on enrolling my son for services before he was an adult. He has now become an adult and it took a year for someone to set a meeting to start the process. We are now working on the second year in the process to finish the enrollment process. Which is still not complete. The lack of communication with everyone at the TRE is very unprofessional. Phone calls and emails are not answered or responded to. With emails dating back weeks if not months. Voicemails are generic phone numbers for the number being called. So you are unsure if the phone number you are calling is even connected to the person to whom you are trying to reach. The office location is not staffed during the hours listed on the actual website for the organization. So you are not able to meet with anyone face to face. The service with this organization keeps going down. I am not being told that it will be a six to eight month wait for things to be processed due to "staffing issues". This is the reason they give every time I try working to find a solution. TRE even goes as far as blaming DHS for the deal in processing everything."

"This review is actually for the TRE in Woodland Park, I couldn’t find a page for them but I would love to share just how wonderful they are! Gretchen Starling and Kaelina Babb have both been such a blessing to my family. We moved to Florissant from Colorado Springs just over a year ago, and I wish we would have done it sooner, the community is amazing. You can absolutely feel the love and compassion emanating from the WP TRE office, they truly care about the people they serve and it’s evident. I am so very grateful for TRE in Woodland Park!"
"We have been with Resource Exchange for the last 3 to 4 years now. We've had the best coordinators until 2 months ago. I have had the worst communication with Demi Ficken, through phone calls and emails with minimum response or replies. I haven even called several case coordinators supervisors with no return calls. I am my sister's care taker, we renewed her yearly CDASS in Srptember, been approved and Demi has been putting units numbers in CDASS that are not matching. She advised her supervisor was working on the issue, but there has not been no follow up in 3 weeks. My sister finally got her skilled nursing assessment on Monday, the 10th with Jesdica Telligen Connect with the approved hours. I emailed Demi Ficken this probably is the missing puzzle as to why her numbers weren't matching up when enter into CDASS, and asked if she received the assessment. To please let me know. I have been without pay since October 1st and today, is November 13th, 2025. This issue has been going for 2 months. I would like this issue to resolved and approval enter to CDASS, so I can get paid and pay my bills that are behind now. This has been the worst experience I have had with RE and a case coordinators. The others we has were proactive, caring and consisious of their work. I would like answers. So disappointed in RE"
