"How was €7,000 stolen from me?… Hello, I've enrolled in the first year of the Camera Operator program… This school is a disaster; unfortunately, you won't learn the ropes of the trade… First of all, the courses: throughout the entire year, only two courses seemed relevant to me. The rest of the time, the school just fills the time by sending us out into the streets of Paris with simple, often uninteresting instructions. No budget is allocated to the courses, and the equipment is disastrous. I only ever used a range of cameras that are completely outdated and unusable today—not enough to fill a portfolio… If at least a real film set were available, then something could be done, but no… None of that. Furthermore, and this is very important, know that nothing promised during the admissions interview will be kept, so don't trust it. If you want to learn how to edit, direct, or shoot videos, you're in the wrong place… The promise of a work-study program is also worthless. Since the school doesn't have a contract with the government, companies won't receive any subsidies and will never take you on as a work-study student. Moreover, the school's contact list is bogus, and very little of what they give you will actually open doors… In short, it's a complete rip-off. -€7000 I also want to remind you that the diploma is worthless, so even if you want to pay €14,000 for a diploma, you can't… Furthermore, the school feels entitled to spy on its students for various reasons. The immaturity of the administrative staff is sad to see; no interest is shown in your courses, there's no organization or implementation of real filming projects, and the biggest project of the year is a street interview organized by yourselves… No support is provided for your personal projects, or very little… In short, I lost €7000."
"I completed a two-year BTS (Advanced Vocational Diploma) in Film Editing at this school, which I strongly advise against. While the atmosphere is pleasant, the equipment provided to students in no way justifies the price and isn't even adequate for the BTS exam requirements. You pay top dollar for makeshift solutions, cracked software, a single calibrated monitor for the entire school, and no access to professional software. The teaching staff is very friendly, but it's a real money-grabbing scheme. I'm disgusted by the money I wasted there."
"The school has a good overall atmosphere and a good teaching staff. However, the organization of audiovisual projects leaves something to be desired. Some equipment is not suitable for the required activities."
"Top-notch instructors and good equipment :)"
"Having spent two years studying 3D animation at EMC, I feel compelled to advise you against going to that school for 3D animation."
