"Just along from the Desperate Dan statue is the very impressive headquarters of D C Thomson the very famous Scottish publishing house responsible for many of the cartoon characters of my childhood. We went into the foyer area for a look around; lots to see. There was also a gift shop area with a huge assortment of annuals, T shirts, mugs etc"
