"Good city accomodation when in Melbourne. Easy to access public transport and cool spots like South Melbourne Markets, the parks, and NGV etc. Getting keys was ok afterhours, usual lockbox style. Great to have a carpark, but like a lot of new builds the numbers aren't in order so read instructions provided (unlike me) to make funding it easier. Pool is really nice, bit of a laborious process to do the induction required to use it but all good. City views are epic, and apartments pretty decent. We were on 17th floor so not noisy at all. Communication from hosts was good throughout."
"Had to collect keys from an IGA round the corner that was not affiliated with the motel at all, booked on booking.com under Luxe Southbank retreat, to find accommodation name was The Guilfoyle. Waited over an hour to have the “building manager” not associated with the phone number on booking to activate my fob to use the pool and “sauna” that doesn’t exist. After me watching an induction video on YouTube first, and having to use the name of Sanjiv on 15 questions I had to answer after videos, Pool was cold. Room was very dirty, couldn’t see in bathroom mirror seems it was so cloudy, mould on shower door, dust and hair on the toilet, told the person on the mobile number given only to be told “ the cleaner is cleaning after each check out but I will tell him to clean more efficiently sorry.” For the $370 plus spent (for 2 nights) would have thought it would be clean. Then there was PARKING took us 24 minutes to find our level and assigned parking spot after driving up and down and all around as car spot numbers not NOT in any numerical order, nor signage available to show what level your on as it jumped all over the alphabet, so no idea where you needed to go. Very disappointing and lack of concern from management."
"Dirty, dodgy pickup of keys from a supermarket that had nothing to do with the actual hotel. Different name on booking.com to what it’s actually called. Got locked in the stairwell, none of the doors would open. You have to watch over half an hour of bullshit videos on YouTube just to wait to be allowed access to the pool. I wouldnt put a homeless person in here for a night"
