"I can not believe my management is using this company. Their billing system is awful and not accurate. They mix up your payments. They will also delete everything after a few months so you can not keep a record of your payments.Their customer service....well where is it ???"
"Our experience with Entrata has been, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing support interactions we've ever had. It all started off strong — the salesperson who reached out to us was excellent. He followed through, was persistent, and showed genuine interest in our needs. We later found out this was his first sale, which made his dedication even more impressive. We were very transparent about the dynamics of our company and that we didn’t have the backing of a large management company. We relied on Entrata to help us determine a realistic and supportive transition plan that fit our unique situation. However, once we went live and signed everything, the support essentially disappeared. The transition team went silent, and we were left to deal with issue after issue without real help. Every time we contacted support, we were told: “We have to escalate to Tier 2,” and then nothing — no resolution within 72 hours, often no follow-up for a week or more, and sometimes no resolution at all. After months of struggling, we reached out to the transition team again — still no response. At this point, it became clear: once they have your business, you’re just another number. Nate Cottle personally assured us this would never happen. He said we'd never feel abandoned, that we were joining a family, and that Entrata would always be there for us. He is CC’d on many of the emails we’ve sent — yet there’s been no response or accountability. To be fair, Entrata has the potential to be a great software — when it works as expected. But it often doesn’t. And when you seek support, you’re frequently made to feel like the issue is on your end, as if you're doing something wrong, rather than receiving the help and guidance you actually need. We expected a partnership. What we got was gaslighting, silence, and unmet expectations."
"Worst maintenance service I have ever used in my life. Support will literally sit there and bang on their keyboards, hangup and call again doing the same thing. I'm just beside myself at this point."
"As a property manager it's an ok tool, as a renter the mobile app is garbage. There are far better programs to use."
"I have never been more frustrated with importing data into a system. Poor documentation. Zero flexibility. I would never in a million years recommend using Entrata as a property management software if you value your sanity. Update almost a year later - more of the same. They updated some documentation, but it’s still insanely unclear what they need up front without uploading and working through dozens of errors to narrow it down. They also can’t stick to any timelines they give us. When we need to add a new property, we routinely get the contracts days after they say they can deliver them, occasionally causing implementation to be delayed. Also, API documentation leaves a lot to be desired. Smaller companies have done this way better. The updated site for working through the API might actually be worse than the original version. Support is also not informed at how on how Entrata works. I often find myself using trial and error to resolve an issue because support is zero help. The whole company and software feels like it’s just been cobbled together over time with no real planning. If we weren’t as busy as we are and it wouldn’t be such a lift to switch systems, we would probably switch to either AppFolio or Yardi."
