"I was very disappointed and left with a very bitter taste in my mouth… while I was a customer, I received the best service ever, but from the moment I terminated the contract, there was a complete change and total mistreatment. I rented an apartment from them for two and a half years; I was a model tenant, always paying on time and in full, and I even returned the apartment in better condition than when I received it. I gave three months' notice—as the contract stipulated—that I was going to terminate the lease, and we had agreed in person that the final taxes for the last month I would be there would be deducted from the deposit… I spent from the beginning of April until the beginning of June trying to contact them, always being very respectful and trying to understand, being patient, asking if they had any updates about the deposit, when they were going to return it… nothing. Every time they responded, it was to tell me that I "had debts," or that "if I wanted, they'd give it back, but then I'd have to pay them back part of it to settle the supposed debt." It was always a vague response, or they wouldn't even reply for weeks. The day I asked to please come in to sort things out and understand how we would proceed, I was treated very badly. Their response was a WhatsApp audio message saying, "I don't understand what you want to sort out; there's nothing left to understand." A total lack of respect for someone who had always done things right with them. And when I arrived, they wouldn't even open the door for me. Later, when they showed me the breakdown of what was going to be deducted from the deposit, I honestly felt scammed: they wanted to charge me interest on the property tax (ABL) for not having paid it (because three months earlier it had been agreed to deduct that tax (plus others) from the deposit)... it was a disgrace. When I pointed out that this wasn't what had been agreed upon, they backtracked and ultimately refused to charge me. I took it as a "if it happens, it happens" kind of thing. Anyway, the next day the deposit transfer was already in my account. Then, the outcome was terrible. In the end, almost three months after terminating the contract, I had to go and BEG them to return my deposit, minus the corresponding amount, because the way they handled things was shameful. There was absolutely no need to treat me so badly. The post-rental experience far surpassed the very good experience I had while I was a tenant."
