"Some parts of the zoo are fine. But the rest of the zoo needs renovation. It also needs more proper care for the animals, which are kept in poor conditions. 1. Elephants are showing stereotypical behaviours. Such as bobbing and swaying their heads 2. Monkeys and apes are kept in small and cramped cages 3. Fighting over food. When feeding the animals, I noticed two zebras kicking and fighting each other. Bears which are begging for food are fighting aggressively, with no zookeepers aware about this. 4. Noise management. Despite signs saying ‘Keep Quiet’ at the Panda area, there was a school of primary school students making a lot of noise. There were also secondary school students which were way noisier. They disturbed the animals, which startles them (the animals). The secondary school students also threw rocks at the chimpanzee and mocked it. The teacher wasn’t doing his job, he was just interested in the chimp and telling his students to come take a look. At least the primary school students were more behaved, but still noisy. Therefore, this zoo needs more security around and zookeepers which can actually care for animals. I wish this zoo could have a major renovation in the future. This is not a safari park, it is a zoo because of its size and walking on foot. There are also rentable golf carts and a tram. I visited this zoo with my mother on 5/12/25"
"Super amazing for kids. Weather was great and plenty of comfort amenities for hire. I.e. the private buggy you rent and drive around the whole day so your kids don't complain of walking. You can spend 4 to 5 hours here if your kids love animals. You get to see a wide range of animals and can feed most and if not all of them. The complains come from having to pay for alot of services such as feeding the animals. I spent roughly 200usd for a family of 4 with simple lunch and ice cream stops included. Only downside of this place is no coffee at all. I personally preferred the safari animals over say feeding the tiger in the caged truck. You get discount on apps for the ticket. Check those."
"Zoo is pretty run down, from aging exhibits to mouldy windows for you to view the animals. However, the number of species that roam within the zoo is amazing. They are huge in numbers & in size. Zoo is a massive place and you can pay for the tram ride or slowly amber through the site. The unique point of the safari park is the feeding of tigers through the vehicle. Although you need to top up to participate in this activity, it is well worth it. The guide will explain to you clearly on what to & what to not do during the activity. The number of tigers that stand up against the fenced vehicle is amazing."
"A very beautiful zoo with many animals. The entrance fee is 200 yuan per adult. You can rent a car on site, which costs around €7 per hour. I would definitely recommend doing that because the park is very large and spread out. What immediately caught my attention, though, was that some of the enclosures were far too small — especially for the monkeys. It’s really sad to see the poor animals in such conditions. Another issue is that many visitors throw food at the animals. For example, they buy corn on site and throw it into the enclosures. I’ve never seen anything like that in Germany. This kind of behavior should be stopped. Other than that, it’s a very beautiful park and we really enjoyed our visit."
"A big zoo near Shenzhen city center. Entrance fare is around 200RMB. There are a lot of animals inside, especially there 2 pandas. The sea world however are not so many fish or sea animals. The place is quite old and need an upgrade."
