"FINAL UPDATE: RETALIATION & FORCED MIGRATION If the data loss wasn't enough, this company's reaction to honest feedback confirms everything I suspected. After posting this review, I submitted a standard support ticket regarding a server-side DNS issue. Their response? They refused to provide technical support for the service I paid for unless I agreed to remove or "revise" this review. When I refused to be manipulated, they issued an ultimatum: silence my criticism or leave. They subsequently terminated the relationship and forced me to migrate, all while refusing to refund the unused portion of my service term. I have since moved my business to EthernetServers. The difference is night and day. EthernetServers is not only more affordable, but their technical competence and service quality are vastly superior. I strongly advise looking elsewhere; do not trust Forward Web with your data or your business. [ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW] First, my name is Dayton, not Kevin. This carelessness is typical of the service I received and proves you don't actually know or care about your "legacy" customers. Your claim of communicating "with full transparency" is a complete fabrication, and I have the support ticket logs to prove it. You were not transparent. You gave multiple, conflicting stories for the data loss, first blaming a standard 180-day purge script, and only later admitting it was a "legacy script" you accidentally reactivated. You were not professional. Your agent deleted messages from our support ticket to hide these contradictions. That is the opposite of transparency; it is a cover-up. You even apologized for the lack of communication. Your claim about the Terms of Service is misleading. Not only are the terms not publicly as of the time of writing this review, the specific policy you are citing against storing emails (Section G.10) explicitly states in its own heading that it applies to "Unlimited Plans." My account was a 10GB plan. This means you not only failed to communicate your policies, but you also misapplied your own hidden rules to my account to justify your actions. Furthermore, your claim that your team "made every effort to assist" is completely false. Your agent's "effort" involved restoring an old backup without my permission, which permanently deleted all of my most recent emails, making the data loss even worse. This public response is as dishonest as the support I received. You were negligent, you caused irreversible data loss through your own incompetence, and now you are lying about it in public. Future customers should see this as a definitive warning."

"Forward Web is an amazing business. Branden recommened the hosting to me when I was in need of a reliable hosting agency for my business. Since migrating to Forward Web I have had an amazing experience Fernando and the rest of the team have been prompt in answering questions and always the first to acheive results. I am beyond thankful that Forward Web exists. Keep up the good work guys, and thank you Branden for giving me help when I need it. If you need a hosting company that cares, these people have your back all the way. My page speeds could never be any higher!"
"After 6 years of being with this company, I must say this was my worst experience with them. I used their cpanel to install Wordpress, 2 days after they suspended my account and saying something about malware on my files. If I used their installer to install Wordpress, where did the malware come from? They claimed I caused the malware. I asked them for a copy of my database and server files because I did not have a recent copy and according to them I need to pay them to clean up my account before I can get a copy and or have them restore it. Long story short, I cancelled my account and moved to 1amd1."
"I decided to try out FGG webhosting services. Everything was fine for the first year, however when it came time to renew my account. The price was doubled and they had already taken 12.50 through paypal's auto renewal payment. They sent an email stating that they had raised their prices without notice and threatened to delete host files if the remaining balance was not paid. Fortunately I had used paypal and was able to retrieve my money back, however I was upset that they would use bait and switch tactics in order to increase their profits. If I wanted to pay premium prices I would have signed up with the big name companies instead of dealing with FGG. Be AWARE, this company is NOT to be trusted and watch out for unethical and unprofessional behavior from this company."
