"The rude comments are inappropriate. Nice and fun place. If you are interested in this sort of stuff , go in ,relax and buy something to enjoy. It is your choice. Nice and pleasant place"
"A very nice store, beautiful materials at reasonable prices, it's always a pleasure to go to Backstage!"
"The saleswoman's behavior was disrespectful and completely inappropriate. Finding the scrunchies pretty, I simply asked where they were from (a local designer, perhaps an independent one?). The person, with a closed expression, replied in a very irritated tone, "You're the third person to ask me! What do you think? Well, they're mass-produced, obviously! When I go to a restaurant, I don't ask where the meat comes from!" An absolutely bizarre and very unpleasant exchange. A pathetic attitude for someone who works in customer service. It's clear the items are of poor quality, bought from foreign wholesalers and resold for a (large) profit. I absolutely do not recommend this place."
"Some pieces are designer and of good quality, but mostly from Chinese wholesalers, resold for five times the price! The pieces and prints are lovely; I bought a dress (with the tags cut off). Imagine my surprise when I read the store's reviews afterward… I found the same dress on AliExpress with a simple photo search!! Don't be fooled by the store's concept when you walk in; you won't actually find any (or very few) vintage pieces. Avoid items without tags!!"
"I'm quite disappointed with my experience at Backstage Vintage Store. Upon entering the shop, I expected to find authentic vintage pieces, as the name suggests. However, after purchasing a crocheted bag, I discovered it was available on AliExpress, which raises questions about the authenticity of the products sold there. As a consumer, I find it important to be able to trust retailers and know the origin of the products I buy. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case here. I'm also disappointed that there was no effort made to source authentic products, perhaps through partnerships with local or European designers. In short, while the shop is aesthetically pleasing and offers an interesting selection, I'm not sure I'll return, as I prefer to support retailers who are transparent about the origin of their products and offer authentic items."
