"Loft is a shinier, flashy, worse version of the activebuilding website they had before. The UI is cluttered and unintuitive. It constantly pushes costly, unnecessary services. Their "move in checklist" never leaves the main screen, even when it's completed 100%. Loft checks for your renters insurance and will automatically charge you if it's out of date, but you personally have no control of what it sees for your renters insurance unless you use eRenterPlan that they link. Only your management company can upload your renters insurance (which means the system is there to allow you to but they don't expose it!), so if your management drops the ball you're stuck bugging them to fix it. It's very clearly designed to extract as much money from the users as possible while providing only a *technically* functional interface"

"Worst company. Absolute fraud. They came to our campus, conducted 3 rounds of interviews, selected candidates, announced the selection list, and promised a joining letter “soon.” Because of this, our college placement office blocked us from applying to other companies. We trusted them. Then they ghosted. For 9 MONTHS there was no proper update, no transparency, no responsibility. After making us wait with false hope, they suddenly said they won’t give the joining letter. Just like that. Because of this company, I lost other opportunities, missed campus drives, and went through extreme mental stress. They lure freshers with unbelievable salary packages, but later silently drop them. Even internship selections rarely convert to PPO. This company plays with students’ careers. They don’t care about the damage they cause, the time they waste, or the mental pressure on students and their families. Parents celebrate thinking their child is placed, only to see the company delay for months and then reject. If you don’t have positions, DON’T COME TO CAMPUS. If you can’t hire, DON’T SELECT STUDENTS.If plans change, BE HONEST EARLY. Keeping students hanging for months is disgusting and irresponsible. This company destroys trust and ruins futures. Be extremely careful"
"May be the epitome of an evil corporation, they’ve had I don’t know how many lawsuits thrown at them over their blatantly malicious greed-fueled price gouging on rent and utility costs. On top of all of that, they don’t really even exist as a company, meaning that they don’t actually do anything for tenants that would actually need them. The will not provide customer support in any real way, as they don’t need to concern themselves with anything as petty as an error on your utility bill, for example, as tenants don’t make them their money. Avoid realpage as well as you can, and the next time you have to forego a meal because your rent took away 90% of your paycheck, these are some of the first people you should thank."
