"The UPS store in Arlington Heights goes way above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. I ordered a whiskey gift set for my husband for Christmas, which was dropped at the store as it required a signature. It was, in all likelihood, taken with outgoing parcels as it disappeared. I was advised what to do, and I called the vendor to ask for a tracer on the package. The customer service at the vendor was abysmal, and they never traced the package. The package resurfaced three weeks later and the owner of the store, remembering our conversation, delivered it to me herself. They have my business for life. Customer Service like that is the exception, not the norm."
"I don't like writing critical reviews especially of family run businesses. However my experience yesterday forces my hand. Returning two packages took 20 minutes. To be fair, there was some sort of computer failure the owner/staff were faced with. However, the lack of professionalism and customer service was unnecessary. Screaming, swearing, if felt more like a bad sitcom than reality. There are several other options for UPS stores locally Thank goodness."
"The most unprofessional notary experience I've ever gone through. Scheduled an appointment online, showed up a bit early. The man at the front desk, extremely unprofessional, claimed that Laurie Poland was "not here" and would be back in "maybe an hour, I don't know." He proceeded to call Laurie and state "there's a lady here for a notary appointment and is upset, blshblahblah." Laurie was audibly abrasive on the phone, despite my being 5ft away. She did not commit to honoring the scheduled appointment nor provided an eta for when she'd be back to work. When I pressed the "front desk guy" for her eta, he shrugged. I do not recommend using this UPS for notary services and I'd hesitate to use it for anything else. Laurie needs her notary license revoked."
