"I ordered Hori Reservoir Wood tongue and groove decking (goods value approx. €3,140) and unfortunately, I have to say that the delivered product does not meet the advertised quality. More than 50% of the boards have severe planing defects, splits, and other processing damage. An advertised product feature – the ability to install on both sides – is not present in many boards. Therefore, they cannot be considered "A-grade" boards. The tongue and groove of the shorter boards did not match the other boards. The complaint handling was extremely unsatisfactory: Despite having already submitted 50+ meaningful photos, I was required to photograph all of the nearly 250 boards from both sides – an unreasonable effort. My suggestion that an employee inspect the goods on site was rejected. Instead of a fair solution, I was simply offered a much too small discount or the entire return. However, this is no longer possible because boards with minor defects were installed at the beginning, which were initially accepted. As the process progressed, the defects increased. Since an amicable resolution is not possible, I will ultimately involve my legal expenses insurance. All in all, a very annoying process. In my opinion, this is not A-grade goods, but rather B-grade quality with significant defects, or C-grade goods. I cannot recommend the provider in this form."
