"Friendly staff. Wifi works great in Taiwan. I use CHT (Chunghwa) which is the largest operator in TW has a very good network. Got good speeds everywhere even in the underground metro. Go take Green line metro to Taipower station, then exit 3, their building is literally RIGHT side of the exit , then go up the elevator in the building entrance to 6floor and it is right in front of you. Drop off is easy at airport, or mail it back to them from a 7-11 convenience store postage. Speed is good, internet stable. Give you a little wifi hotspot box with usb charger and spare battery. Keep the battery charged. When they turn it on and have you try it, be patient takes like 1-2 min for it to work. Quite simple no need fiddle with it. Pricing is good. Much better than airport. Book online, have it mail to your hotel or pick it up yourself."
"AVOID AT ALL COST! Rude staff, dishonest about their machines, and problems all the time. I’d give ZERO star if I can. Really frustrated with this company! The WiFi machine disconnects al the time with no reason, you’ll need to disconnect the battery to restart and reconnect all the time. I’ve informed several times and they just ignored me. Even gaslighted me saying they never had that problem, when in fact I’ve changed 3 machines and each of them had the same issue. The battery is even worse, about 4 hrs of usage and it dies. I’m constantly worried being disconnected when working around Taiwan. Yes, this place is cheap, but you pay what you get. I didn’t have that much problems with another shop that is pricier. I’d rather have a stress free experience with paying just a few hundred TWD more than constantly worried about getting disconnected or no battery in the middle of nowhere."
"Great price, great service (special shout-out to Angelica for her friendliness and professionalism). I rented the Pocket Wifi for a month because my phone's SIM and ESIM aren't working and this will tide me over while I wait to get a new phone."
"Rented for a month—constant internet drops, limited to three devices with slow speed. The battery drains fast and needs to stay plugged in. If taken outside, it dies within 15 minutes. Bring a power bank or avoid wasting your time and money on this device."
"Rented one of the most expensive motems there. I tested through different wifi speed testers. The advertised speed was up to 100-300 mbps. I tested 3 times, 15 mbps was the top speed. Absolutely terrible."
