"From 2022 to 2024, we used Kompan's SEO services and Google Ads campaign management. The initial contract was signed for 12 months. Approximately three months before its completion, we received information from the company about alleged changes on Google's part and a draft amendment to the contract. This amendment – ​​in addition to the changes indicated – also included a provision resulting in an automatic extension of the cooperation for another 12 months, which, in our opinion, was not presented clearly and transparently during the communication phase. After further verification, it turned out that the indicated Google regulatory changes had already been in effect several years earlier, even before the initial contract was signed. In practice, this led to the extension of our cooperation despite our dissatisfaction with the results of the services provided. In both 2022 and 2023, the SEO and Google Ads activities – according to our sales data – did not translate into a noticeable increase in enquiries or sales. On the plus side, we noted the polite contact with the account manager and the effective organizational communication. However, from a business perspective, we primarily expected measurable marketing effects, which we did not observe. Therefore, I recommend that future clients carefully analyze the provisions of any amendments and the terms of any contract extensions before signing them."
