"After a couple hours of presentation, over the phone, on how they were going to start a ecommerce business for me I asked to be given a little bit of time to do some research. They were asking for a 5K investment to get me started with. After a couple of hours of presentation only I think its a bit reckless to just cough up 5K and say ok without doing a bit more research. Ms. White is who I was taking with and she would not allow me to get off the phone and do some research before making the investment. This was a huge red flag for me. I own a couple of other successful businesses and never just "take someone's word" for if a business is going to work or not, I do some research first. The fact that they would not "hold my spot" so to speak tells me that they really are not interested in weather or not my business is successful or not. Long story short I wouldn't entertain being any kind of partner with this company as they seem to be very pushy and grab the money before anything else kind of company."
