"I walked in because the place looks really nicely decorated inside and, let’s be honest, tacos and a cold beer always sound like a good idea. Or so I thought. The food was disappointing. No, wait… tragic. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever eaten at a “Mexican” place with so little Mexican about it. Wheat tortillas instead of corn. No coriander. No lime. Jarred guacamole making a very sad appearance. Jalapeños were there… but nobody knows why. Everything was so bland that I asked for a hot sauce. I was handed a bottle of Cholula. When I asked if they had anything spicier, I was told that was the only option. End of the culinary journey. The menu is extremely basic: seven types of tacos, guacamole and fries. You’d think that with such a short menu they would at least get the basics right. Spoiler: they don’t. The tacos arrived cold. And the place was almost empty, so no excuses. Their “Mexican” beer of choice is Madri. Very authentic. And to top it all off: a 12.5% discretionary service charge for bringing four tacos to the table (I collected the beers myself from the bar). Impressive. Nice decor, great first impression… and a huge letdown. Won’t be coming back."

"£29 Burro Reggaeton vs R&B Brunch 🎶🍹 I attended the 4–6 brunch sitting and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. Our server Barbara stood out she was incredibly friendly and calm the kind of person you just know won’t be in that role for long because she’s clearly moving on up. Professional, warm, and completely unflustered even when it got busy. The hostess running the bingo games was an absolute star. She came around explaining how everything worked, brought high energy, and was a proper hype woman. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed what she was doing, and that makes all the difference to an event like this. We had: • Cheerios • Quesadillas • Nachos Everything was tasty and well presented. Perfect brunch vibe food. Drinks included Prosecco , cocktail jugs and beer flowing nicely and keeping the atmosphere lively. Music was amazing to the theme 100% Bonus point: While waiting for my (late!) family to arrive, I ordered a margarita from the bar. Amanda makes a serious margarita. I’ve had many in my time and hers is a solid 10/10. Balanced, strong, smooth exactly how it should be. Will 100% come back for her margaritas."

"We came here to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday before heading off to a brunch I had already booked, and it was the perfect way to start the day. I’ve been here a few times now, and it never disappoints. The drinks are always well made, the snack foods are great for sharing, and the atmosphere is consistently lively and welcoming. The music is always spot on, which really adds to the overall vibe and makes it feel like a special place to relax and enjoy the moment. It’s somewhere I’m always happy to return to, whether for a quick stop or a special occasion. Highly recommend for great drinks, good energy, and an all-around enjoyable experience."

"Visited last weekend for my birthday and opted for a Bottomless Brunch. Probably the best overall package I've ever experienced, from the price to service. The staff attending to our table (group of 13 people) were attentive and kept our drinks topped up for the duration. The Mexican-style food was superb. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Brunch in Shoreditch or London in general."
