"I asked a friend who is an independent mortgage broker who I should use for the sale of my mother’s property in Midlothian. Without hesitation he recommended the Edinburgh office of McEwan Fraser. I also checked a couple of other agencies and although McEwan Fraser’s fees were marginally higher, the benefits outweighed the others. Longer opening hours late into the evening, seven days a week, meant that potential buyers were able to contact them straightaway. Furthermore, their social media presence was excellent and the photographer that they used provided excellent photos for the sales brochure. These two things alone meant that we received instant interest. Received very helpful information and guidance from a friendly solicitor on how to take a cowboy builder to court for non-compliant/very shoddy building work causing potentially serious structural issues if not rectified/put right by others.
