"Unfortunately the Romans Caversham team are let down by the property management side of their business. When renting a house through Romans I reported that the bedroom doors were very difficult to open and close because of the friction between the bottom of the door and the carpet. I had to report this twice before anything was done and eventually a team came out and shaved a little off the bottom of the doors, some months after my initial report. With regards to regular inspection of the property I found the agent responsible for this to be inflexible when making the appointment and would not change their inspection date to be convenient for the tenants who were concerned about leaving the dog in the house when a stranger walks in. My biggest disappointment though is regarding the return of my deposit. I vacated the property 21st January and as of today 23rd February I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned to me. I have had to chase Kian at Romans and each time there's an excuse for why the deposit has not been returned. No sign of anyone being proactive and keeping me informed, I only get a response after I have followed up to enquire why I still have not received my deposit. So this is my experience and I have posted a one star review which is not reflective of everyone at Romans Caversham but they are let down by the guys in property management and accounts."
