"Owners are greedy and opportunistic. A 2 BHK listed for 50,000 and after they got a couple of visitors, increased to 75,000. Scammy broker named Aravind works up the owners to increase rent unreasonably to get a high brokerage fees for himself. He does not charge any brokerage fees from owners, so owners really don't care who's renting, as long as they fill their pockets. Houses are old with faulty electric sockets, mold and tiny geysers. They evict renters within 6 months to increase the rent while creating hassles to pay back the brokerage fees. Avoid renting here to save yourself trouble"
"pathetic society, very old, electrical appliances are old and often get repaired and we have to replace it, already spent so much money in repairing fuse and other appliances. Plumbing is also very old and water gets clogged easily, tubes and pipes are rusty and old. Not worth the money"

"I was a tenant in E001 Akme ballet for 11 months. I and my flatmate Anisha moved into this flat last year June and ever since then we had to constantly get some or the other repairs done. We got the mcbs, shower heads, flushes, balcony door lock changed, to name a few. There were never any complaints against us, rent was always paid on time. Most of the fixes were handled by us even without bothering the owners(Joy Mukherjee and Alisha). So after doing literally nothing wrong for 11 months, it was time to get the rental agreement renewed. We had a discussion with both the owners in March beginning when they physically visited the flat. To renew the agreement, their conditions were to get two coats of painting done even if we don’t move out, expected us to get it painted and pay our share. With painting, we also had to contribute in getting the deep cleaning done and rent was increased by 10%. After discussing amongst us, we agreed for the rent increase, to get the house deep cleaned and also contribute in painting but we told them that they have to overlook the painting since I would be going home in April end for my father’s retirement and they(owners) agreed to it. All of this discussion happened in March first half. Then in April 1st week, I get a call from my flatmate Anisha saying that owners have decided not to renew our agreement, I asked for a quick call to them to know what changed suddenly and the first thing that they said was “We don’t owe you guys any explanation”, we are giving you one month notice and you should vacate by end of April. In a very polite tone, I tried asking them that if you could let us stay till May end since I wont be in Bangalore from 26th April to May 1st half and this is something I had informed in March itself, the owner Alisha says, “it’s not my problem”. Finally, they ended up deducting 51000 from our total deposit, pertaining to painting, deep cleaning and pest control which is just too much. Just please be careful and try to get to know ur owners before you take flats in Akme ballet. I have been renting flats in Bangalore since 2018 and never did I have such an experience. Especially, this particular flat *E001*, both *Joy* and *Alisha* were so rude at so many instances in the last 2 months that i cant even mention all of them."
"The feedback is about flat no. C-003 at Akme Ballet society and the Owner is Ms. Nivedita Rathod To begin with the flat, it is a very old apartment with all old appliances which was maintained 4-5 years back by Nestaway and post Covid the owner started to maintain it by herself Initially they did not do any maintenance or cleaning before the tenants moved in or when any tenant moved out. At least 9 tenants moved out before I moved in and there was no cleaning done even though they assured me regarding the cleaning. They expect the tenants to take up the full responsibility, be it for any drainage issue or for any appliances which are more than 15 years old now. None of the issues are resolved when escalated but blames were put on us for not handling it properly. We, the tenants when planned to get the house cleaned, they created an issue again blaming us for the condition. They were never ready to consider that the flat was on the ground floor, which invites more of pest, no sunlight and proper ventilation and also mentioning the cats of the society that used to enter the house when the windows were kept open. After all of this, one fine day, we were just asked to move out of the house within a very short period. We did that, but she did not even return our deposits. She made deductions over deductions which were not even rationale. And now these people have blocked us and are not responding to the calls. We were paying huge rents to her around 65,000/- for a 3bhk (which is same for new properties in the surrounding areas) on the ground floor with all the old amenities and appliances. It's really not worth it and too much time will be wasted on maintenance"
