They have a They have a lab on site so you don’t have to go out to the lab somewhere and the lab technician is just a sweet genuine person very skilled. Easy to get an appointment no long wait when you get there all of the staff seemed very organized and efficient - The office is in a great location and very nice. "Same story different patient. About 7 years ago I went to EVFP b/c my sister had recommended them. First was Dr. Walend, then onto Dr. Chang, then onto Dr. Lawrence b/c I didn't want to pay $2k for VIP. As I do EVERY year, I make sure EVFP will take my insurance. This year in May - 5 months after I'd seen Dr. Lawrence multiple times, EV told me they don't take my insurance. I called BCBS, and had a conference call with Kevin & Joel @ Intracare on 5.19.25 @ 10:20AM. We spent 69 minutes on this call with BC explaining what they needed to update their system to make Dr. Lawrence part of my BCBS plan. Joel @ Intracare said they would send over the corrected and updated info. Kevin at BC stated I wasn't the only EV patient having this problem. LOL. I kept getting bills and hadn't received a call back, so I called again on 5.27.25 10:30ish, and had to leave a msg on the main line which I did. No, call back. I called again on 5.28.25 at 11:03am and l/m with Frank to have Joel call me back. Again, no call back. On 5.29.25, called at 4:24pm, and had to l/m on the main line. On 5.30.25 I called at 1:59pm and spoke to Frank (went thru my whole situation - AGAIN -) who told me the claims had been resent. So I stopped calling and figured I'd done all I could so my only option was to find a new Dr. On 6.11.2, I received a call from Karen at 10:18am from Intracare, who told me she would have Alicia, the billing mgr call me. No call back from Alicia. At this point I was beyond frustrated. I sent a msg via the portal to Dr. Lawrence & his team on 8.20.25, thanking them for everything. I got a call that same day at 10:59am from Leann, the front desk lead. She said she/Intracare were very sorry. Lastly, the portal has been up/down/up/down and they did start outsourcing the calls. As others have mentioned the way this takeover from Intracare was handled, was one of the POOREST transitions I've ever seen or had to deal with. So unprofessional and all they could say is sorry, but we can't do anything."
