"I was looking for an affordable training platform cheaper than what we had. They were very responsive and we set up a call. They never mentioned anything about the 3 year contract nor did they say anything about early cancellation not being allowed. As others have said, it was buried somewhere but was not written in clear terms for you to understand what it means. I reached out to cancel but they have been insisting that I have to complete the terms of the contract which is ridiculous. We are a small business and this is clearly not working for our needs and they are making it really difficult. I wish I saw these reviews before signing with them. This looks like a SCAM scheme! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORGANIZATION!!"
"AVOID at all costs. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had as the CEO of my company. It took - I kid you not - 3 months to get someone on the phone to assist us. The only way I was able to get them on the phone was by clicking the "sales" option. I have since connected with a former employee who have confirm they are a dishonarable in every sense of the word. Hard no!"
"We entered into an agreement after being told the platform would meet our agency’s training needs. Unfortunately, we were never informed during the sales demo or follow-up communication that the contract included a 24-month lock-in, no cancellation policy, or auto-renewal clause. These critical terms were not in the PDF we received and were instead buried in hyperlinks that were not discussed or explained. After signing (by an employee who was not the decision-maker, nor authorized to sign, despite that being made clear during the demo), no training or onboarding was completed. We made multiple attempts to contact support and customer service to clarify and cancel but received no meaningful assistance. Since we filed a contract dispute, our emails have been ignored. It’s clear they operate using aggressive sales tactics and fine print rather than open, honest customer service. We’re sharing this review in full transparency, so other healthcare providers are aware before signing anything. This is not the kind of partnership a care agency can rely on."
"Relias is a great company with a wonderful training platform. It does a great job of helping smaller companies meet training needs without hiring a training department. However, their contract is not user friendly, and they are not willing to give companies a break when the user count goes down. My company signed up with Relias at the start of the pandemic (May 2020). At that time, we had over 100 employees. We signed a contract with Relias for 60 months, which we were told was their standard and we did not have any other option. So, we signed their contract, and we went with 50 users. Once we learned how beneficial the training was, we added more users but then, like all other companies at the time, our employees started to leave. We were left with about 60 employees at the start of 2021. I contacted Relias and asked what we could do to reduce the number of users, but I was told there was nothing they were willing to do since I had signed a contract that spelled out the terms and when adding users, I could not go backwards. Since that time, I have been throwing away over $11,000 a year on user fees that I am not using. And Relais does not care. I am here to warn other companies to be careful about the contract they sign with Relias. Don't get hooked into a situation that you can't get out of until the end of the 5 year agreement and after throwing thousands of dollars away. There are other companies that are much more affordable and flexible with their contracts. After leaving this review, Relias reached out to me to offer me "special terms" if I renewed my contract. I let them know I was not interested and that they did not need to contact me ever again. I also left a review on the BBB website where others have also given Relias a 1 star review for the same reasons."
"Beware of signing any agreement with this organization, if you can truly call them that. After using their platform for 5 years which truthfully was not very good or useful but aided my clinicians in acquiring their required CEU’s, our organization decided it was time to move on. When we contacted them in terminating our agreement, as we had passed our 5 year initial agreement timeframe, they stated they had an auto renew policy built into the contract that was not dictated anywhere on the original agreement but was hidden in a link connected to the agreement. This is one of those organizations that tries to keep you trapped no matter what, probably as they know their product is poor overall, that would have the super fine print on anything you sign! Buyer be-aware!!! When we contacted them the initial time the script of the first representative even told us our contract ended in June of 2023, as I expressed we were already past that date and we were no longer in a contractual agreement; when she referred me to the termination department, that is when the date was now updated to 2028 due to their Auto-renewal hidden link! This is one of THOSE companies with so many 1 start ratings that that’s how they continue to pay their bills, not with innovation and tech and usefulness, but by trapping their preexisting clients and having reps or friends post 5-star reviews to keep their Star rating from completely bottoming out… My advise is continue searching for another TRAINING platform and RUN from this one; and ask anyone you’re interested in if they have ANY AUTO RENEWAL POLICY built into their contracts!!! The organizations that tell you we don’t need something like that because our platform and service keeps you with us are the keepers. We will continue to fight to get away from this horrible PLATFORM."
