"I have been looking for an apartment for a long time in Colorado. But this site doesn't have anything available for persons that are in my income bracket. They do not save my searches. They keep sending me places that are way out of budget. There seems to be a void in that area period. I have tried to call a few apartment complexes on here several times, and their mail boxes were full on my several attempts at trying to contact them plus, I have emailed them and still I have not heard a word from them. I had to use this site to apply for two wait list.I wonder if they even got my application for the wait list."
"The website keeps logging me out. I can’t even set up a bank account without being logged out in the middle of the process. Also the UX is horrible — it shouldn’t be so confusing just to set up autopay for a portion of the rent."
"Can’t log into their app to pay my rent. I clicked on forgot password and it takes me to a 404 page. I emailed them through their website and no one returned my call. The property management company got mad at me for paying late. I was out of the country at the time and got no support from RentCafe. When I returned, I paid my rent using a non-RentCafe link I was given when I first signed the lease. RentCafe needs to provide support and a better app/SaaS product."
"Terrible, I just received an eviction notice hanging on my door when I came Home from work. Now, I’ve been paying my rent for five years Without any problems, having the money was withdrawn from my checking account. My apartment complex is transitioning to rent café from another organization. While I have not gotten into this deeper since it’s the weekend, it’s awfully suspicious due to the change to rent café"
"This communication serves as formal notification of my dissatisfaction with the current property recommendations. The suggested properties do not align with my stated preferences, which are limited to Placentia, Brea, and Fullerton. Properties located in Los Angeles, Irvine, Costa Mesa, and other areas are not of interest. Furthermore, my requirements specify a two-bedroom unit with a minimum of 1100 square feet, including houses and townhomes, with apartments being a last resort. The recommendations received have consistently failed to meet these criteria, frequently suggesting properties with significantly less square footage, typically in the 800-900 square foot range. The pricing also deviates from my specifications, as I am prepared to consider properties up to $3800 per month, including a garage. These details have been consistently provided in previous communications, yet the recommendations have not reflected them. While I acknowledge that availability may be limited, I must emphasize my preference to focus solely on the specified areas and price range. As a serious prospective tenant, I am actively seeking a property that adheres to these outlined criteria."
