"I am both shocked and disappointed. This is not about poor customer service; it's about ethical failing. I expected a legal office to be fair and treat people equally, but sadly, this was not my experience. I wanted them to draw a legal document for my business. I first received a clear explanation of the process, stating payment would be due upon finalising it. However, when I agreed to proceed, I was asked to pay upfront. Confused that maybe I may have misunderstood, I asked for clarification and indeed they confirmed that they have different policies for Dutch and "non-Dutch" clients referring to past experience with bills not paid. So they just generalise and are biased against foreigners. As a business owner myself, even with unpaid bills, I would never treat customers differently based on their origin, and it is the last thing you expect from a legal practice. I cannot recommend this practice and would urge others to consider their values before engaging with them."
