"A hidden gem: Don't let the first impression fool you! When we first arrived, the simple entrance and reception area made us a bit nervous, we weren't quite sure what to expect. However, those doubts vanished the moment we opened our room door! While the room was typically Parisian (meaning: 'petit'), it was absolutely wonderful. The highlights of our stay: • Impeccably clean: And I mean mega clean. It’s rare to find a place this spotless! • Great comfort: The bed was fantastic—perfect for a good night's sleep. • Beautiful bathroom: Very stylish and well-maintained. After a few hectic days at a trade fair, this was the perfect peaceful retreat to recharge. We had two lovely nights here. Highly recommended if you prioritize a clean, comfortable room over a fancy lobby!"

"My partner and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. My medication was able to be kept in the fridge and they took very good care of everything. They always remembered our room number which was very sweet of them, no matter who was on the desk! I want to say a big thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome, and for the positive experience we had! As for the location, yes it can be a little intimidating upon first arrival. However, we had no problems. As long as you walk with conviction and confidence, no one will bother you! Thank you so much again to the staff!"

"Stay away from this hotel. Honestly, the worst service I have ever come across. Was told to pay a deposit for the room, which is completely understandable. We were assured that per the deposit policy, as long as the room was left as we had received it our deposit would be safe. We stayed for 2 nights and hardly spent any time in the hotel. Upon leaving we asked again about the deposit and we were assured that we would receive this as soon as the room was checked, by mid-day. This did not happen. After chasing them for weeks, they responded to say that the deposit would not be returned due to noise complaints. This was not part of the deposit policy. The deposit was held in case of any damage ti the room, which there was none. The walls are paper thin so even flushing the toilet could be heard from the corridor. Very misleading and the worst experience. Also note that the rooms are super small and the hotel itself isn’t very pleasant. It was smelly and not very clean. Isn’t situated in a nice and safe area either"

"We stayed in October after booking the room in May...and we were charged a second time for the room. When I contacted the hotel they denied it had been paid twice. So, keep your records and be careful. The location is not as convenient to Gare du Nord as I had thought, but the hotel itself is fine."

"From the outside, this hotel appears unassuming, almost invisible. The reception area looks in need of redecorating, but that's where the negatives end. The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and willing to help with any information you may need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In fact, all the staff greet you with a smile and are a great credit to the efficiency of the hotel. Our room on the 4th floor was spotless. Fresh bedding and towels provided daily. There was a large, comfy bed, wet room type shower, TV, safe, and tea/coffee making facilities. All you could need at a very reasonable price. Breakfast is mainly Continental style served in a very quirky subterranean dining room. The hotel is situated within a 20 minute walk from Gard du Nord station and less to the nearest Metro. Other reviews have mentioned that safety is an issue with the local area. Do not be put off. We never felt unnerved walking about even during the night-time. Thoroughly recommended. Excellent."
