"Edit 16 Feb 2026 - I have had a somewhat productive conversation with someone from Siteminder and have been offered their assistance to review my listing with me to optimise it, as well as review my subscription to ensure it is the most appropriate one for my needs. Original review: After 15 years of being with Siteminder and in recent years using their Little Hotelier system, I am now looking at alternatives. Whilst the system is working for me, it is becoming too expensive and the constant upsell to pay more for add ons is tiresome. To top this off I see them having lavish conferences in spectacular locations, meanwhile my subscription price keeps climbing. I may be a small venue, but the money spent on lavish events where they congratulate themselves and pat themselves on the back is an insult. Can you imagine how many venues my size (6 rooms) it takes to pay for their parties? I had another call yesterday to tell me how wonderful "Demand Plus" is for boosting direct bookings. They believe that paying 10% per so-called direct booking compared to the 12% I pay to other OTAs is a great deal - when I have tried it in the past I lost a portion of my genuine direct bookings to Demand Plus, so overall I lost revenue. I am also constantly bombarded with reasons to use their automated payment system, even though it costs me more per payment than doing manual payments. Being a small venue it is a quick job to do my own processing and save money. This company has lost its way and I can no longer recommend it to anyone."
"I'd like to add my experience to other disillusioned customers as a warning to potential new ones ... we used these guys to help us manage cross-platform bookings for our Airbnb. Apart from being expensive and largely ineffective, after some time we realised we were being charged for everything twice. Upon bringing this to their attention and requesting to cancel all services, it still took more than 6 months and multiple lengthy phone calls for them acknowledge and rectify the situation and then only begrudgingly. Steer clear of them."
"Very disappointing experience with Little Hotelier / SiteMinder. Our subscription price was increased suddenly without any prior notification. When we contacted them for clarification, our system access was restricted, which seriously disrupted our operations. Since then, we’ve been passed between multiple departments with no clear answers or resolution. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and very frustrating customer support. Would not recommend based on our experience."
