"Please take the time to read through the lower reviews, not just the most recent/overly positive ones. I strongly urge others to be cautious before committing. Since the changeover of owners, my hosting fees have increased by 40%, which is a significant jump! I was told the security + performance of websites would improve under the “new system”, but my website consistently took 15–20 seconds to load. I understand my website is complex and has many functions, but faster performance was the very reason I agreed to the higher costs (from the very beginning). The new owner told me he would personally look over my website after I complained about both the performance issue + price increase, but after following up TWICE, I’ve still heard NOTHING back, and my site is still just as slow. Replies to my inquiries have always been slow and difficult to receive. Despite the considerable amount of money I’ve invested in this business, I often have felt unappreciated. Unfortunately, the creative support was lacking at the beginning but I was naïve. I essentially had to map out the entire design myself and received no meaningful creative input or suggestions AND following up on my inquiries regarding website changes that didn’t align with my vision or maybe due to miscommunication often were complained about from the previous owner - which made absolutely no sense and turned into a horrible experience after they already had my money in their pockets. They would also often ask for more money for simple tasks (like changing photos or completing what I had originally requested) claiming it wasn’t in the agreement, even though these were things they never even finished!?! I also spent a significant amount of money on a photoshoot with SlyFox, trusting their work. Unfortunately, the photos were disappointing and done so half ass, the sweaters were visibly wrinkled, there was no guidance or communication around how the hoodies should be styled, and the final images just didn’t look right or nice. I ended up not using any of the photos, which made the entire shoot a waste of money. The owner was not happy I complained. I was admittedly foolish and naïve, I 100% feel like I was taken advantage of on both price and service offered, but now I am willing to walk away and take it as a loss; lesson learned and can’t walk away without warning others! I also can’t help but feel these glowing reviews must be biased (new owner incentive) it certainly seems like there’s some favoritism at play, because my experience has been nothing like what others describes and I’ve supported this business for a long time. And look, I support small businesses and want to see them thrive, but it’s also important to be honest and share my experience fully and wholeheartedly I regret the money, time and energy I’ve invested here, and strongly urge others to be cautious before committing. Higher fees, lack of follow-through, slow support, and disappointing results, just BE CAREFUL!"
