"Since this location switched from Valtura to Prime Storage, the quality and service have gone downhill dramatically. The facility — including the washrooms — is often dirty and poorly maintained, which was never an issue before. On top of the decline in cleanliness and service, there has also been a rent increase — yet the value and standards have decreased. What used to be convenient 24-hour access has now been reduced to very limited hours, making it extremely inconvenient for anyone who works full-time. The worst experience for me: on my ONE day off, I went to pick up my Christmas items and discovered that my lock had been changed without any notice. No email. No phone call. No note on the unit. My account is fully paid and in good standing, so there was absolutely no reason for it. Management provided no explanation and no accountability for wasting my time. If I wasn’t so busy, I would already have moved my belongings to another storage provider. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. Adding to my original review because things have somehow gotten worse. I received a generic, bot-style reply to my review, so I called the facility to get actual answers. When I spoke to staff, they had no idea about my review or complaint. I was given three different stories about my unit: 1. First, I was told the lock had not been changed. 2. Then I was told that any overlocks had already been removed. 3. Then suddenly I was told that it wasn’t removed and that my payment “processed late.” My account shows my payment was on time. So I’m being given contradictory information with zero accountability. Because of their limited office hours, I now have to leave work early just to go deal with this in person — something that would not have been necessary if communication and management were handled properly. This has been nothing but frustration and inconvenience. Still not recommending this place."
