"Extremely Disappointing Experience - Order Never Received I ordered an ice cream cake from Baskin-Robbins through Zomato as a gift for a special occassion . I provided the complete delivery address of Kolkata with full details to ensure there would be no confusion and also the contact of the receipient . Despite this, the delivery rider claimed they couldn't reach the number on the phone and simply "left it at the address." When I checked, there was no cake anywhere to be found. The complete address was provided, yet somehow the order vanished into thin air. When I managed to contact the rider, she told me to contact the company because "they" had instructed her to leave it at "the gate." Which gate? Where exactly did she leave it? No clarity whatsoever. The cake was nowhere to be found at the address. To make matters worse, there is absolutely no way to contact Zomato customer care directly. No phone number, no accessible support - just complete silence when you actually need help. This is unacceptable service. When you're delivering perishable items like ice cream cakes, proper delivery and customer support are essential. Zomato has failed on both counts. Would not recommend ordering anything perishable (or frankly, anything at all) through Zomato until they fix their delivery tracking and customer service accessibility."
"This is nothing but exploitation of delivery partners. ₹1500 is charged as a compulsory joining fee, but what do we get in return? Just two extremely cheap T-shirts with a logo and a very small, low-quality delivery bag. The bag has only basic foam insulation and ordinary belts — no proper thermal protection at all. The quality is nowhere close to what is being charged. Anyone can clearly see that the actual cost of these items is a few hundred rupees at most. Charging ₹1500 for such poor material is unfair, unethical, and misleading. Delivery partners already work under pressure, and this kind of forced fee feels like financial exploitation. The company must either reduce the joining fee drastically or provide equipment that actually matches the price."

"Very Poor Packaging – Extremely Disappointed ⭐ Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5) Review: I ordered from Burger King via the Zomato app, but the condition in which the food arrived was extremely poor and disappointing. The paper bag was completely soaked in oil, torn, and falling apart. The burgers were soggy, the fries were scattered, and everything seemed to have been thrown into the bag without any care. There was no sense of hygiene or proper packaging. It was clear that the items had not been handled or checked properly before delivery. The bag was leaking oil, creating a mess on the floor, and the entire experience was unacceptable. I expected much better from both Zomato and Burger King, considering their reputation. Sadly, this delivery did not meet even basic quality standards. Please provide a refund or some compensation for this kind of poor service."
