"I received a direct mail request via X about a TV appearance (paid by the performer). I set up a meeting to find out more, but the person who was able to take my place was a dyed-haired man with no communication skills who simply read from top to bottom from a document. He's not even good at conversation; my questions didn't really help. The document didn't even list the price. When I told him that his presentation was so bad I wouldn't get anything out of it, he got angry and demanded, "Why did you come to this meeting?" I explained that I was just there to hear a proposal, and that my presentation was so bad I didn't feel anything, but he still didn't respond. He then said, "I don't know what you want to do..." You were the one who made the proposal in the first place. And when I went to hear the proposal, you gave a terrible presentation. There's no way I'd want to work with you. You should also properly research the other person before making a proposal. Even new graduates research the other person before interviewing. I was shocked that I should have been able to understand them better if it was via X. Setting aside the content of the proposal, it was the worst I've seen in a while."
