"I took a short break inside to cool off during my walk. Looking at the tall buildings made me swoon!"
"I visited the office on August 12, 2025 for a meeting. The office is very clean. I especially liked the restrooms."
"This office building is relatively new in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, having been completed in March 2020, several years before the Aeon Food Style building. The D in D Tower stands for Daiwaman (no one's heard of it). It's home to Shoko Chukin Bank and many other D-related companies. The top few floors are coworking space! It's different from its predecessor! There's plenty of greenery around the main entrance and the first-floor lobby, and plenty of seating in front of the entrance, which is nice. Naturally, however, the seating areas on the first floor and lobby floors are discreetly marked with a disclaimer stating that use is restricted to those with business from the building, and smoking and eating/drinking are prohibited. While I understand that this is a reasonable management practice, I can't help but think it would be nice if they created a separate area for people working in the building where they could take a quick break, grab a lunch or a convenience store coffee, even if it was only for a limited time. There's outdoor seating in front of the entrance, and it's somewhat shaded, but it's still pretty uncomfortable outside when the temperature exceeds 30 degrees. It's already quite a walk from Shinjuku Station, and a bit from Nishi-Shinjuku Station. Also, if I remember correctly, the tenant stores on the first floor didn't have an entrance from inside the building. It's possible that they were considering measures to prevent shoplifting, but I feel like having one would make a big difference in the demand for snacks during work and overtime for the people who work there. Well, I suppose the drink vending machines and 95-degree hot water faucets in the kitchen are a substitute for that, but why are there stickers for transportation IC cards and various Chinese barcode payment methods, but no PayPay, Rakuten, Pay, or Merpay stickers? I was wondering, but it worked, sorry. That's a bit harsh, but I'll note that the multi-purpose restroom in the corner of the lobby floor had not only a diaper changing station but also a changing table, and was spacious and easy to use. It's probably not actually necessary, but I think it would be good for people who need it to know more about it. Upon entering, the first thing you'll notice is the escalator leading to the lobby, but there's also an elevator at the back that takes you from the first floor to the lobby. But I wonder if it was really a good idea to have INAX, considering the LIXIL showroom is right across Ome-kaido (that's too much). Also, apparently store patrons can use the bike parking lot tucked away on the west side of the building, but I read online that employees of the tenant companies need to sign a contract to use it. I wonder how much of that is reserved for contract holders..."
"I came to the museum for work."
"The bakery on the first floor is delicious"
