"I had an over 10 year long relationship with First Priority/MidPenn Bank. My companies and personal accounts had hundreds of millions of dollars run through their bank. I alerted MidPenn that one of my other financial institutions were hacked and they should be on the lookout. I asked them to be vigilant and add extra security to my account. My business/personal accounts were NOT hacked. I informed them that my IT guys did a complete scan of all my PC's and security protocols. We changed all username/passwords to every email address, server, PC, etc. They called me the next day and told me they shut down all my accounts. I'm too high risk. BAM...Just like that. I now had no access to millions of dollars sitting in their bank. I couldn't pay my employees. No access to any money and I had to find a new banking relationship over night. The process of closing over 20 accounts and moving the funds to the new bank was painful. I missed 2 weeks of payroll for my employees while I was trying to find a new bank, open new accounts, move all money from MidPenn to the new bank, set up new banking rules with my payroll service and so on. What a mess of a company. No wonder MidPenn is a very small, regional player. They don't care about their customers and relationships. I can't believe I was blind to this for over 10 years. I'm glad I was forced out. My new bank is amazing. They will help my businesses flourish. Bye Bye Felicia..."
