"I have been a customer with Go Daddy for a few years. I have my domain & email with Go Daddy. I called Go Daddy because my website was not working (I built my website through wix). I was told that my website credentials expired with wix. The customer service rep told me my renewal for both my Go Daddy services (domain & email) were to renew the next day ($52.16 & $71.88). He then told me about their website builder for $144.00 and he said I could purchase that and it included my domain & email & I would not be charged for the renewal. He explained I had to purchase it that day because my renewal was the following day. Well I was charged for all three! I called Go Daddy to hopefully resolve this. After a ton of time explaining that I never intended to drop my original email or use a different domain & that was clearly articulated with representative, Go Daddy said they would “listened” to my recording. Within a few minutes Go Daddy called me back. Upon review of my recorded conversation. they concluded that the rep did state the $144 website builder comes w/ free domain & email. So they would not refund me anything. They did say if I wanted to dispute this further they will delete my domain & email account. Go Daddy piece-mealed my conversation & completely misguided me. Im so disappointed with them. I asked the rep point blank by purchasing a website builder with Go Daddy would I avoid paying renewal of those 2 charges for the following day. But that’s not what they did. Be aware. This is not a honest company."

"15+ year customer of Godaddy says, "refund the money when you promise a refund". Just got off the phone for the 4th time and the customer service rep (with screaming baby in background) said, "too bad. Wait another 6 months". Interestingly, the rep had no idea when a refund is issued. Godaddy's auditors need to know that if refunds aren't tracked this is a great class-action suit waiting to happen and probably should reserve for this liability. - $149.84 poorer."

"Lousy customer care. I was called by GoDaddy today and the sales team was disorganized. Did not know their service history of my account. Salesman argued with me over it. I called back to speak with supervisor and was left on hold over 7 minutes. I called corporate office to speak with an office of a manager or directors of sales and marketing. Again left on hold over 7 minutes. Called back and was informed I would not be allowed to speak with anyone but customer service (the group I was calling to complain about). Considering closing my accounts."

"At GoDaddy, managers do everything they can to get money from their customers without providing services and products. They sold me packege with their hosting, which does not fit my site, I asked to roll back the PHP version, they do not want to help their client. The manager specifically sold the hosting, which was not suitable for the site, all this only for selling me a solution to the problem that he irresponsibly had done to me. Because of this, I incurred big expenses. I asked to provide me with a responsible manager, they gave only his email, that no one answered me there. If there is a company with which it's not worth to work and whose clients are not in the first place, this is Goweddy! I don't recommend this company to anyone."

"I would like to WARN people that go daddy will not let you leave. Once they have you you are LOCKED in. They phoned and told me I had to pay 500 American $$$ for a product that cost 40.00 Canadian $$$. So I decided to leave go daddy and they locked my website down. They have tried to say its to prevent fraud. But it’s not and 90 days later we are still screwed. They are punishing us for leaving after they ripped us off. Very Evil company"
